im a 3geez newbie and i want know your opinions on what kit to go with, should i get a 4th gen kit and make some slight modifications or go with a kit made for our Accord like Xenon or Kaminari?

well if you have a hatch, youre pretty much out of luck for the rear bumper of any of those... but the 4g kit WILL screw up the lines on the car, especially up front.... the xenon etc kits look like they were made for the car, but arent as exotic looking... IMO

i dunno...you could go with the buddy club 4g kit, IMO it dont look that bad if you are going for the aggressive look...otherwise, yeah, you can just go with the 3 kits that are out there for our 3gs. when i have the money, im going with a 4g kit...just because the kits that are out there suck ass IMO...lol.

why is the hatchback on the back so different from the rest of the other 3geez has any one ever tried putting a kit on the rear of the hatchback before

the size of the bumper is different by a few inches... i am not sure how tough it would be to modify a bumper onto a hatch, but noone has done it with any kits that i am aware of. the only hatches i have seen with rear bumpers have been a lot more custom, like hondaman87 :)

does the side skirts of a hatchback and a coupe have a difference or will there be no problem on the fittings

hondaman87 put a bmw rear valence (i think thats what he said) on his car. you can check his hatch out in the hatch pics thread.

hey there guys..im new the 3geez. I have a 87 honda accord HB DX. I have decided to keep this ride and fix it up. I had a 86 hond accord 4rd seden DX but sold it. Im interested in what my options are as far as performance, looks, and speed. I hear about these clear corners and markers, where can I find those. Also, as far as engines go, my engine was 222,222 miles on it. But thats ok for a honda. i also hear about a body kit for an 94 accord that will fit the 4g accord front end...just needs to be cut and trimmed. Hit me up with info on this. Id appricate it. Keep up the great work on all your rides guys! they look fresh and clean :)

i dont think a 94 accord would work but a 90-93 front bumper would work easily just pull the fenders out to make it rounded out. the 94 looks to rounded for our accords

hello people. You guys still haven't seen the 3g from around here(around Delaware). It'll piss on all of your rides:). He modified the rear of a Hatchback Accord. To whoever said.., its never been done.., guess again:). This guy has it fully lowered, headlights from a newer lude(92-95 model), tails from a Supra, a back kit from a Black Widow kit, Razzi Side Skirts, a Street Fyghter front, tinted windows, nice gray primer, 18 inch rims, etc. . His ride isn't finished yet. He has the sides of his hood an different parts around the car rounded off. It looks newer, but the only thing giving it away is the shape of the windows in the back, and the hatches decklid in the back. I saw it in the summer when I went to the beach. I'm going to see if I can get him on here. It might be a long time though. That thing is soooooo tight. It is so sick!. He even has a engine swap. It is pissin. I would say that its probably the tightest 3g that I have ever seen up close. Well, I'm out. I still don't know how to post pics on here yet. I have a couple shots of my car now to show to all. Its nothing much. I just recently blew the clutch on my ride about a week ago. Its on jackstands in my driveway. Well, I'm out.. Peace

It is very difficult to change the rear bumper on the hatchback, it is completly different from all of the other models, this car looks very nice in a solid color with all the trim the same. Rear red lenses in the rear bumper would look nice. this is a project in progress. This car might look nice with a different front bumper and the original rear bumper all in one color. Does anyone know where to get the original greek white paint?

I can make the oem paint in the shop that I work at

and to get the paint you can go to any auto body supply stores and give them the # that is on the drivers side b pillar the one where the door latches to and the paint # might be some what like this (NH-512-3)
