Well, i've been fascinated with LEDs for year, and the incredible fact that they consume so little electricity compared to the regular incandescent/halogen type bulbs our cars came with. I got so tired of watching my voltage gauge constantly fluxuate between 14.1-13.7 back and forth. All i did was replace the relay with a Tridon (Novita Tech Inc.) EP34 Electronic relay from advanced auto parts. This is an exact OEM fitting relay.

These are the bulbs i came across to use. The glass really helps throw out light, yet focus it as well. I love this design and it's ridiculously bright at 3W each. They're CREE's :D.

Here is a link to the video of the light at night. Couldn't get it to upload on photo bucket :-(

If you don't mind me asking, how long did all of this take you?

Like less than 20 minutes with all I needed on hand. Total it was replacing the relay which was plug and play, 4 screws and four bulbs. Very simple easy process

you should get a resistor to help slow the blinks down man. looks good tho!

they make a specific blinker module for LEDS, sometimes even the electronic ones have the fast blink function, this is supposed to tell you that a bulb is burned out,if it was a regular bulb, it would blink wierd on that side

I replaced the turn signal relay first and made sure it worked fine with the stock bulbs before changing anything. Then I installed the LED bulbs and tried then. Same flash rate no matter how many watts the bulbs pull. That's the only con I've found with this module. I wish there was one you could literally set the speed via adjustment screw or something. That would be nifty. Either way, I love this new setup. I got to get better photos and video though.

This is the one I used, and my blinkers work just as normal.

I did the flasher mod on mine: http://www.3geez.com/forum/technical/78719-led-lighting-help.html#post1104893

Edit: I am now seeing adjustable rate flashers available online too, with a handy knob sticking right out of the unit housing. I am hoping the factory-made unit has a more even on/off timing. If you mod an existing flasher you'll know what I mean.
