Hi, everyone. I have been searching for an 88-91 Honda for a few months now, and I believe I have found the one. It's a 1988 DX Sedan, with only 76,000 original miles. Interior is flawless, paint has issues, but there doesn't seem to be any body damage - a few scratches and scuffs. The only thing I am concerned with is when shifting from P to R, there's a slight metal on metal sound. Mechanic thinks it could be a motor mount, but there's no movement in the engine when the shift occurs. Considering it's only $2,000 I won't mind having to put a little work into it. Either way, hopefully it all works out and I'm driving a nice Sedan soon.

Welcome! Sounds like a great little car. Not sure about the transmission noise though. A vid might help if it's a big deal for you.

I've driven it twice and other than the sound, seems to be just fine. Once it's mine, I'll update what factory parts have been replaced and get a clip of the sound uploaded.

Welcome. You were lucky to find a 3rd gen Accord with only 76K miles on it. Wow! Can you post a pic?

This is one that was on the listing. Paint isn't great, but for the price I can't be mad.

Looks great! The headlights are a little wonky but that shouldn't be more than a hour of adjusting.

Yeah, it's been taken care of but some things have been ignored. It'll take some work, but I hope to have it looking nice before long.

Update - I have the car! Getting used to the carb and driving a car that's older. I will post some pics and a few questions this weekend. Most of the things seem to be common - idling kinda high, kinda shaky when stopped, but nothing major.
