the guy that sold me my car said it has a rust hole in the tank and if i dont fix it i would get about 3 miles a gallon. The shop where i am getting it fixed at said that they have never heard of an accords tank rusting through. I was wondering if you guys knoew wether or not this was a common problem and if so how much should it cost to repair?

The fuel filler pipe has a known rust problem, but I don't remember hearing much about whole tanks rusting.
