new guy here : 1986 honda accord hatchback lxi 5spd

hey guys im new here and ill be pickign up my 1986 accord hatchback lxi 5spd this weekend and cant wait to start restoring it. its in pretty good shape body wise which has 126k on it, but the motor is toast on it. the rings are shot so it eat oil like no tomorrow, but along with the car comes two spare engines, a spare transmission, a new clutch, and a whole bunch of other extra parts. as of right now my plans are to restore it and repair all the major things on it from top to bottom. and eventually ill end up either rebuilding one of the extra motors for boost or ill do the h22 swap which i have in my 92 accord at the moment. well now well get onto all the pictures i have access to at the moment since the car is in another state.

thanks man, i still have so much to learn about this gen accord. im so used to my 4th gen with everything, its weird to hear that b series can go into an accord with out much hassle lol. the guy i bought it from is actually the owner of cb7tuner.com and he just hasn't had the time to get around to startign and finishing the car. im amazed at the deal i was able to strike with him for this car. all im focused on for while is just getting in back into running order and restoring it. all the swap/go fast stuff well happen lter down the line.

yeah he's was glad that it is going to another enthusiast and not some random unknown person. i already know this car well have alot of people following it because alot of people were pushing for deev to finish it. i surely well be posting alot of pictures with the progress of it. and i keep coming up with so many ideas for it, but still have so much research to do, ill have to do ALOT of research if i do ever plan for the h22 swap. might even attempt a h2b if i feel up to it. but who knows where ill go with it. first and for most is getting in back into tip top shape lol.
