Hi all,
I've been lurking here for a while now but problems with my ISP accessing this site has made it difficult. All seems to be sorted now so thought it about time to say "Hello".
Here's a photos of my two Aerodecks. The silver one is a 1986 EXi manual with 73,000 on the clock, a bit scruffy around the edges but a good car. The green one is a 1989 EXi manual with 33,000 miles and in very nice condition throughout.

Not sure what to do with the silver one to be honest. At the moment it's in the garage in a state of limbo with no MOT or road tax. I could sell it to my mechanic who fancies it for a track day project, sell it to someone who'll keep it on the road or keep it for a supply of spares.
I'm planning to start a separate thread for the cars so will post photos there. In the meantime there's plenty on my Facebook page ... FACEBOOK AERODECK (https://www.facebook.com/AeroDexter)
I made that little avatar when I was bored. I like your pixel art Aerodeck signature. I need to get one for mine. :)

If I were you, I would keep it for spares. As you know, these cars are getting rarer and rarer - as are their parts. If anything (knock on wood) happens to the green one, you'd want to make sure you can easily source some parts. Not to say I would tear it apart now and swap parts or sell some to friends, I would just keep it how it is and leave it. Perhaps one day you may want to drive it again or even work on it. :)
Haha thanks, I found a stock one on the internet and I edited it to make it look like mine :)

I'd like to keep it for spares if I can, its value in parts to me is far greater than the £300 I might get if I sold it. Storage is the issue, I have to pay for a garage just to keep it in. For now I'll just leave it where it is and let the wife forget it even exists. ;)
I have a stock image already saved. I'll have to work out how to edit it to look how mine is planned to look.

Hahah yes, let it 'become apart of the landscape'.. she will forget it completely :P

Welcome! There were quite a few design changes between '86 and '89 so a good many parts on your '86 will not work on the '89 without some modification. You might want to factor that in to your spare parts calculations.

No, not a PS user. Gimp and Inkscape usually do what I need.

Yes, that was something that was worrying me. I've noticed a few subtle differences already. They look so alike but there's a surprising amount of parts that aren't the same.
