This is what $450 gets you when you go to Wisconsin. Perfect winter car and daily for my gf.

Got this for $300 in Oregon. '89 Accord LX 196,000 miles. Came with all the body damage, but I've straightened it out some and have a new front fender to put on in the trunk. The door is cracked on the pull handle & window roller mounts, came with that too. Bad CV joints, they just click a bit. Need to fix that. Mostly minor stuff with the body, need to take a trip to the junkyard soon. Just got done with a Weber 32/36 swap, works great. Just ran it through DEQ (Oregon smog test) last week, didn't even need to do anything after the original tune. Got the Weber on an ebay bid with the adapter kit for $200, got a good deal on that too.

It runs gooood with that Weber. Advanced the timing a bunch for fuel economy and performance. Sounds great even with stock exhaust. Gave it a bunch of torque too. 5-speed so traffic is fine, freeway is good too. It's beat up, but but it runs sweet now.

That's great you saved that 3gee from a wrecker! And passed smog. Keep up the work to restore the 28 year old Accord! Too bad the west coast is beyond my distance and most all Craigslist ads don't want to ship the car. Perhaps if I take a vacation to the west coast, I ditch the plane back home and arrive in a 3gee hatch. Haha
An 88 or 89 would be interesting since those are kinda more rare than the 86/87. Congrats and keep up the build!

My 84 hatch with a weber 38, A/C delete, new axles, inner and outer tie rods, and a rebuilt rack and pinion. Lol.
