    Trunk rack

Is this stock? Because I've been wanting to take it off, it reminds me of a Buick

It looks like the stock one, kinda like a spoiler piece at the end. I like those myself

Definitely stock, but do realize if you remove it you will have a dozen holes on the top of your trunk lid.

Yeah I realized that I figured some bondo would do the trick to cover the holes

Dude, please try to sell it here first before giving/throwing it away.

$sooo risky to ship undamaged..and bondo would not be very good solution, never is on top surfaces. You would have to very slightly countersink each hole with a small chisel, making a sideways nick for the mud to stick and bondo work be raised. With all the work involved in filling and finishing that many holes and the risk it would show thru the final paint, a junkyard decklid would be less expense and work.
I would be a buyer for that rack but would want the whole decklid intact with attached rack.
i paid 40 bucks for a good decklid at pulla part here, that included lights and all.
Bondo 18-30 bucks, sandpaper 12 bucks, primer 15-30 bucks, tape n paper 12 bucks, clean up supply 5-15 bucks. You may get lucky and find a trunk already the right color too.
Labor to remove rack n repair est 4 hrs, labor to r&r trunk n swap wire harness maybe 1.5 hr
bondo gets hot when curing and most top panels are supported in grids, warping is an issue somtimes and that makes it more difficult to work, also finish work must be flawless because of the light catching flat surfaces and the sun cooks the hood top and decklid trunk so the differences in metal n plastic expansion is a factor for endurance of the repair spots.
Im not saying it cant be done with success but it isnt easy to produce professional grade work, even bodymen prefer panel replacement fortop panels due to labor times and headaches. My first lesson on this was on an aluminum Malibu hood, impossible to stop "walking warpage"
Find out how much to ship the hood and pack it right, it may be too high for me I dunno.
I like it because it is a touring sedan look of the Euro 70's & 80's. Buick got in it too late lol I think the Chevy Eurosport had one that looked appropriate. Only set back is there are no tie downs so can it be used to haul anything lol
