I love it.
Hi, I'm eric. Have an 87 accord lxi 3 door with 203k on the odometer.
Hi there everyone!!!
Sarah here! From Phoenix, AZ.
I have a white 1989 Accord LX-i 4-door automatic. Her name is TankGirl! Such a sick ass ride....if only she were in better shape at the moment.
- Just had the head gaskets done in March this year because there was water in there.
- She has a crack in the intake coupler. It used to be a soft squishy silicone/rubbery-type material, but is now hard and brittle/cracking from this Phoenix heat. I took the coupler and clamps off last night only to find out (today) that the part has been discontinued and I am going to have to redneck-rig something to get her going again.
- She also has lots of hoses and tubing that is old and needs to be replaced.
Previous owner didn't treat her well! SOOO I WILL BE USING THIS FORUM TO MY FULL ADVANTAGE!

What's up honda lovers! My name is Jamie. I just recently aquired an 89 lx 4 door auto with 135k on the dash. I've had it for less than a week and I have big plans as soon as I can accumulate some cash or parts! Glad to be a part of 3geez now and can't wait to discuss the do's and don'ts of my honda build.

Hello all! I'm brand new to the forums here. Been browsing but this is my first post. I'm a high school student and my accord is my first car. I have a 1989 Honda Accord DX with a 5-Spd. transmisson and the A20A1 engine block. Its carbed, which is kind of a bummer but its a dream and i love it. Here are some pics (shes dirty and is still bone stock):
hey there nice to see a fellow desert rat
I just bought my first Prelude (note the use of the word "first") last night. It's a black 1991 Si that had 4ws grafted onto it by the guy I bought it from. It has the B20A5 engine (he said it was rebuilt but I can smell the oil it's burning), and there's 261xxx on the chassis.
I only drove it from his house to mine last night but enjoyed every minute of it. I'm hooked. What a nice-riding, responsive car! it's just a sweetheart.
I'm going to be reading everything I can on these cars - I already read half the Chilton's manual this morning - and looking for advice from you experts on what to check up on, what to maintain and/or improve on the car.
I don't have any pics it of my own, but I downloaded the ones from the Craigslist ad and will be posting them to Photobucket and linking them here RSN (Real Soon Now).

Thought I would drop in and introduce myself. My name is Jay and I just brought my first Honda home from the Oregon coast. It was not running when I purchased it and that's how I found this forum, searching for issues with fuel delivery. Well after a new main relay, battery, alternator and set of tires, she's cruising like champ. I took it to my mechanic for a safety inspection, since its mainly for my new drivers in the house (18, 16, 15 year olds). He made me a list of items I should be replacing soon, so I am thankful that I found this wealth of information.
