Long time no post....Well guess what happened. :(

Well as a lot of you know I havent been active lately at all. Ive just been so busy with work, and life I havent had time to do anything but drive my accord and keep maintenance up. Well on the way to dinner the other day after work a guy turned left in front of the 3gee and put an end to a long friendship. Car is definitely totaled. His insurance (Liberty Mutual) doesnt want to give me crap of course, so im in the process of copying an getting ready to send all my receipts in. Hopefully value will got up or Im gonna have to take some legal action I guess. All they want to pay right now is a measly $640 or so dollars. BOOOO. I do think that Im done with 3gees for now unless something amazing comes up for sale locally.

Good news is Motor didnt get damaged and still runs. Hopefully coilovers are good as well but the drivers side front shocktower is bend a little so well see if I can buy the car back and pull em.

The way car insurance companies are allowed to work with accidents always makes me mad. The other guy ran into you and now his insurance basically owns your car. You have to have a legal fight or pay them to get your car back, this is like the Mob.

like Viper posted, blue buck sucks and does not include the 80's cars anymore, NADA is the place to look. I've seen far wrose enter the body shop and be repaired. Inc companies usually try to total a vehicle it's cheaper on their side and they benefit from it. fight it all the way

These things suck. If it takes a bit of lawyering up, do so. Get your insurance involved as well, if you have coverage for that type of damage (uninsured motorist, I believe).

I have a sedan rolling chassis you can have for $300. I'm in Palatka, FL. You know, just in case it's getting rebuilt.

Yeah Still trying to get ahold of claims lady...shes on vacation till the 29th how convenient.. haha. And they dont own shit lol cars at my house and Ive taken no payment. Yeah already send them receipts for motor and suspension/brake work and totals up to around $3880 in that alone. Cars too bad to be rebuilt, or at least I dont care enough, frame is bent. I could fix it but Id rather just let the accord retire. Hopefully the ball gets rolling soon or I am gonna have to lawyer up.

^ I would do that, but it gets tiring being on hold for 45 mins to an hour 10 to 20 times a day 5 days in a row. Seems like the only way I can talk to this woman is thorugh email. But yeah rental car is def. gonna be involved.
