Suspension Setup Picture Thread
Hey can I get a picture thread going of what kind of suspension you are running and a picture of the result? I can't find one here and this would be a very helpful resource for people trying to lower their car, I have some coilover sleeves at home I'm gonna run but I've seen more "what suspension should I get" threads here than on any other site.

Would you say the eBay springs are softer than stock?

Yeah, they are definitely softer, but this makes is so you can continue to use the OEM struts. The car has no bounce, and rides better than before on the highway as it absorbs small bumps much better.
They were soft enough I just put the tophats on without any spring compression. Took me a total of 15 minutes to put them together once I got the old springs off.
Re: Suspension Setup Picture Thread
Sounds like it rides a lot like my cut OEM springs (but safer lol).
Re: Suspension Setup Picture Thread
Looks like they would bind a lot but I can't really judge, I haven't seen them in person yet.

Re: Suspension Setup Picture Thread
If I just get the springs would that work 88 accord lxi or do I need to buy new struts how much are they?
Re: Suspension Setup Picture Thread
I would recommend using the search tab and checking online at various websites such as optionsauto.com or horsepowerfreaks.com or going to Autozone. This is a pretty basic question and this isnt really the place for it.

We like people to ask questions on this website. This is not h+t or pirate4x4. We try to encourage new people to post not discourage.
Re: Suspension Setup Picture Thread
I'm not discouraging posts I just feel like there is a better place. There are boards where this will get answered much more quickly. But yes it is advisable to change the strut since it'll be out already

:bowrofl: That's hilarious! Didn't know you were on primate4x4. Those guys are a riot, though I think it's mellowed out over the last few years. I post in the Suzuki section on occasion.

Diesel trucks-the ricers of the future. - Page 377 - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum
all time most hilarious thread on the internet. When I cant sleep at night i just randomly read this. 377 pages you cant get it all in.
After a 10 year hiatus I did actually login in there just to see if the admin of the Scout part was still active. He is a total west coast tool.
Pirate4x4 is everything bad about internet forums balled all up and swallowed by VS like a horse pill you don't want to take but have too.
I just don't want this forum to start that going that way.
