My mechanic told me that we can use a fuel pressure regulator from a 94 tegra in our cars. We measured the bolts and everything and it looked like it fits. I have a NOS fuel pressure regulator. Here it is:

and this one doesn't replace the stock one. It just adds more fuel pressure ( that's how the mechanic explained it to me). The integra ones does replace the stock and its suppose to be better. is this any true???

well, fuel needs to be dealt with, but not until you have some things like a CAI, headers, exhaust, camshaft, and probably an ignition... adding more fuel is useless on a stock car... it can only burn so much, plus you have your stock injectors slowin ya back down to stock-ish flow rates

The better ones to use are the AEM one or the vortech or b&M. The vortech and B&M you will have to modify the stock fuel regulator, and I have a how to on that, the aem would just bolt right up..
To answer his question now...... No i don't think the integra reg will work. Even if it does, why would you want to install a stock integra fuel reg? It wont make it any better.
Stick with aftermarket and go from there.
Get a fuel gauge that runs from $20 to $30 more or less and adjust your NOS fuel reg.
I wasn't talking about "stock" fuel reg. I'm talking a performance one from AEM or something like that. Because the one that i have doesn't replace the factory one.Quote:

Look buddy!!!! Justin sells an in line fuel reg that will work and he just mentioned about AEM that i didn't know about. However the reg that you have will work just fine.Quote:

If you want an ajustiable regulator with a guage buy one from cosmo racing on ebay I have one and it works great.

I've got an Autometer mechanical fuel pressure gauge (100PSI) with the high pressure isolator so I can run it inside the car. What parts besides the fuel lines do I need to buy to make this work?Quote:

I also have a Vortech pressure regulator. It's an easy to do mod, but you have to use the stock regulator off an 88-89 Accord. The 86-87's are too large in diameter to work.

Just get one from cosmo racing they are an ebay company comes in silver red and blue not too bad price and it also bolts right up.

I've got the AEM reg. Bolts right where the stock is. But its pretty pricey.

I noticed my top end doesn't leanout half as much as it usto. I am pleased with the product also acceleration seems a bit better.
