So after almost 7 years of having my b20a, the tranny blew on me on the way home from work. There was no noise. It just locked up on me as I was coming to a stop. There is a small hole on the case. I am screwed right now. Does anyone have a manual b20a trans for sale? These things are harder to find than the engine itself so if there is one out there lemme know.
if you're lucky, the damage might not be too bad. it probably just destroyed the diff pin (as they do), if you're lucky and there isn't much damage to the case, you can probably just replace the diff (or pin & spider gears) and patch up the hole in the box and be good to go again
That's what I'd try first.
