Alternator Light

My alternator light won't turn off. I have tried three different alternators and I sill get the same result. I checked the fuses and the battery cables and those look fine. Anybody have some suggestions that I should try next? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thought I should add that every once in awhile when I turn my headlights on and back off the alternator light will turn off, but as soon as a restart my car it is back on.

check the wiring/connector from alternator to light.........

Make sure your batt is ok.

belt ? grounds ? what is the alternator out put at idle ( mesaure @ the battery terminals !
