I just wanted to know who has what kind of intake.
What about the Weber short ram intake? That's what I have anyways.
i have an aem intake that used to be a cold air for a 93 prelude. my freinds sister totalled his lude and he kept the intake so we just hacked part of it off and put it on backwards. works great
i got the Cold Air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its the best.....
92-95 Civic intake pipe with like 5 inches sawed off.
I've got, had, and used them all... and then some.
I prefer ram air with a foam or oiled cotton gauze filter.
stock here. oh, what brand of the civic intake do you all have? i was going to get one after i get some cash. i've heard prices are from 75-150 or so but i may be wrong.
It's 18°F at 9:00 PM... If you want cold air, cummin getit!
Einstein is right. It's cold as a bitch up here in PA.
It's colder here in MN. Right now its 9 degrees and last night was in the minus degrees. It's hard to drive in the cold with the weber. Maybe I'm running it too rich or something.
I cant find an intake for my accord :( does a 90-?? work
will I have to hack it up a little bit or what do I have to do
thanks for the info im kinda new here
www.ebay.com buy an intake for a 92-95 civic, and chop the end off so it fits with your battery. end of story. dont pay more than $40. i got mine for $38 shipped. :)
I say 1 for tough install 10 for peformance and 10 for sound because I have never had such an easy install for that decent even if small gain.
i have a short ram, filter is back in the area of my ignition coil, at the same angle as Mike's. I really wanna convery to CAI when the weather warms up, with filter in the bumper area. How good are those Weapon-R's? Not worth the money i reckon?

FAQ > how to make your own cold air intake...

this is easy, but a K&N drop in would have been just as good i think (and even easeir).

Thanks for the info I just ordered one off of ebay it shoud be here in a couple of days hope it sounds good :)
good for you and i mean no offense to you, but people seem too interested in the sound of their intake rather than the performance. isn't the idea performance?Quote:

Its an 87 honda if I wanted performance I would get something with awd and a turbo. or a 96 Honda Civic Si and mod the piss outta it, thats just my thought though. but thanks for the info. I just like the sound a intake makes, it just sounds bad ass hu :)
i understand. i know plenty of people, even some of my friends, who get intakes for the sound. personally that's just not my reason for it.
