Ok, I dont know if anybody else actually reads these, but in the little exhaust readout it says HKS came out with a cat-back exhaust system for our cars. I was very happy to find this out but im not sure if its just a misprint or a stroke of luck on our part

Do you know how much it costs? I'm sure it will just be cheaper to get a nice muffler and custom catback.
-
ya I saw that too. Did you try to findout anything more?
-

I checked at at their homepage http://www.hksusa.com and there are no specific 86-89 catbacks made; only thing is their universal mufflers.

"Designed and built with increased horsepower and long life in mind. The 16-gauge, mandrel-bent steel tubing is larger-than-stock, but sized perfectly for each application. High-flow MONZA Performance Mufflers, manufactured from corrsion-resistant steel and MONZA Exhaust Tips with Resonators finish off each system. These systems are designed to replace the stock exhaust. "

LOL In that link to that pace setter It sez it will work in 86-89 accord 2wd/4wd. Is there a 4wd model?

pacesetter catback = bad (the muffler anyway)
-
Pacesetter catback + Dynomax muffler = Good.

I would just go to your local performance muffler shop and get them to custom build you one. Mine cost me 200 canadian for 2.5 inch mandrel bent cat back plus my muffler.

HKS Hiper muffler + Random Tech. cat + DC Sport headers + OPM CAI = alotta happiness
