3g Accord front end question

Hi guys,

Great to see theres a forum for 3g accords. I currently own an 1987 Aerodeck accord which has a smashed in front end. I am planning on purchasing a donor car for the front end.

The issue im facing is, I am unsure as to whether the sedan or hatchback model have the same front end. I only have the choice of those two as aerodecks are not locally delivered in Australia and i am unable to source an aerodeck front.

LT;DR are sedan, hatch, aerodeck front ends all the same?

Everything on the front end is interchangeable between all models and years. There are some differences in bumper and corner light appearances but they will all fit and bolt on.

Wait so a 90’s accord front end will fit any other accord? No way

No not 90s cars. I meant all years between 86 and 89.

Ah, alrighty

NB: The '88-'89 Accords got a few "facelift" design changes that differ from the '86-'87 models.
