New Intake, a couple of questions

I just got my intake today. I got it of e-bay for $38.00 shipped. I just got through putting it on. There's not alot of power differance, but damn, it sound's good. Question's are, when I took off all the stock intake there were four hoses left un plugged. Two came from the vacume box, number 17 and 18 hose. Two came from a little box mounted to the side of the filter box. Do I need to plug these into anything ? Right now I have them plugged closed and I am getting no check engine or can tell any diffrence from before. Thanks.

for the 86-87 efi cars like yours, there are 2 vaccum lines from the black box near the pass side on the engine bay. and i dont know where or what the rest of the two are, but one big one is a PCV filter hose that can be plugged off with a APC pcv fliter/breather from PepBoys for 10 bucks.

IF there are no check engine lights coming on or no abnormal idling or driving differences, i would suggest that they are better off plugged. I dont know about how the emitions would go.

The two hoses on the drivers side go to the idle control valve and the ac idle valve.

Only problems I see hapening are ocasional dips in the idle and big dip in idle when you turn on your ac.

Intakes sound so beautiful.
