So what does it take to do this? is there some special bracket they provide to increase the angle you can adjust your headlights? or is it something it does to the headlight? i've been looking into it and i find all ford probe shyt, is there a way i could do this to my accord or my friends '86 MR2?
If i'm not mistaken it involves wiring something to your exsisting lights.

If I recall correctly, they said it was a huge pain in the ass because of the way the motors and all that shit are hooked up in our 3gee
The probes it works on the 93-97 body style, which had a different system of opening the lights. In their case, I think it was a knob resistor to make the sleepy eyes....

On the MR2 there's a knob on the headlight (i'm pretty sure). I know on the MkII Mr2's there is a knob. We did this on my dad's MR2 for a while but he put it back normal since he though it looked stupid. Looks much better on the 2g Mr2s.

The knob method does not work for 3g's, or at least for mine. And it does look stupid.
A way to see it is to disconnect the fuse for the headlight motors and setting them manualy. It looks like it might look dumb, who knows...
Or you could just jump up on top of your headlights and jump on them until they look sleepy.
lol. it would mess up the angle of ur lights if u did the sleepy mod and it probably doesnt look that good. but if u wanna try it go ahead. make sure u post some pics for us.(or me at least)
my friend is more interested in doin it on the MkI MR2 he has, i was kinda wondering what it'd be like on ours since it has to move so damn much compared to the probes or MR2's. i personally think it'd look cooler to make some sort of projector setup within the place of the standard flip up, like the ones for RX7's or the MKII MR2s
i didn't read all posts completely so forgive me if i'm repeating someone but the mod doesn't look right. it looks like the motor is messed up. our cars need to look as clean as they were when they rolled off the lot, the smallest thing can make them look like crap.
i can get anyone the module to make your headlights do it

I know what can make your head lights look cool with out making em look sleepy, and that will attract womens attention... hit the button repeatedly that makes just the head lights flip up simultaniously and your headlights will wink.... LOL so everytime u see a hot girl walking by your way, just use the flip light button to give em a lil wink..... LOL just a thought... Lataz LOL

its true they do look pretty ghey on the 3g. but with the road race cars like the 180 and miata it serves a purpose.
intirupt one of the circuts if you want to wink.....hook up another switch. dont burn your motors by pressing the button till they wink
Isnt there a little rubber stop thing for the headlight to know where to stop when it flips up? I think if you would put something on that rubber thing it would stop a little before it hit that and that wouldnt be very hard to do if it worked.
for those of you that LIKE the sleepy look, i just made my own controller out of a switch and some wire. and yes the heardlight still go up and down fully. SO AT NIGHT YOU CAN SEE. and no it doesnt look bad. IMO. but whatever its my car and i like it
