Creating THE Master Manual for All

This came up recently with the EGR thread, ShiRens post of docs, and a few other times with how many different manuals there are. I know several have scanned in the manuals, some are searchable some are not. I have a wide assortment of factory manuals and they are all so different. It would be nice to create one manual that covers all years and we could easily link to it and all refer to the same page since we all would be looking at the same page.

I am willing to start with my collection and gather information. I'd also like to add brocures, Honda OEM parts catalogs, bolt sizes, and part diagram explosion views with honda part numbers. Literally everything.

It think the easiest way it just have a full searchable service manual for 86/87 and 88/89, we are missing the 86/87 manual as far as I know and the 89 manual just needs edited

Won't you need OCR to make it searchable? Then someone has to sit down and proofread what the OCR did. It's a big project.

Yes, i wanted to do this project in the past but OCR type scanning wasn't as good as it is now. I'm going to use technology that didn't exist back in 1986.
