it most likely your ignition.
first check distributor cap for any external/internal cracks.
check rotor too. clean them both.
check ECU, just to make sure it is not throwing any codes.
Ok the cap is new and so is the rotor. The computer is not giving me any codes. I just put mt friends dist. That was off a running car and it is still doing it.
