I see a lot of nicce shift knobs out there. I have a Manual 5spd.
How much trouble would it be to replace my stock one?
would a new one fit without modification and would it look clean?

Just get some kind of Momo one. Or you can cut yours. There is always some way to make it work.
just unscrew yours and screw on a new one, it's really easy. the only concern is the funny clip that honda uses on the bottom of the stock one. i have an aftermarket knob with the stock boot and it looks sort of wierd and the plastic rattles against my stifter sometimes but a lot of people like it and i do too really. although i'd like a new boot. here it is.Quote:

You can take off that silver clip thing on the boot. Just take the boot out and flip it inside out. There is a zip-tie holding the boot on the silver thing. Just cut the zip-tie and remove the silver thing.
then do this to attach the boot to the shift lever.
