well i decided to pull off a project at first i went to the a hobby store nearby (Michaels) and i asked if they had Testors Candy Apple Red paint, they said they didnt have it in stock but the did have Blue i said hmm ok i guess i'll take it, here are the pics what u think? (sorry for the crapy pics i'll take more pics and i was busy today :D)

Were you inhaling the paint before using it? :D Dude, I don't think it's legal for you to have colored tails (except for red and orange). Oh wait, those would just be signals so good luck with the blue signals.
lol u guys!! dont worry i dont think its illegal somebody did theirs black, here and u could still see the turn signal dont trip it lights up sorta green now :D it looks good from what i can see and about the blue it looks blue if u see it closely the pics dont do the job i'll take better ones

yeah no matter how black it looks the black will still shine red at night. strip the paint and do it red like my car. (still needs primer)

Ummmm......should've waited to get the candy apple red. I think I will do it to mine (candy apple) or (black tint), because it would match my paint beautifully. But at least you tried and if that's what you want go for shit.

I think it's ok if u do the line on the top.I had the top half of my 93 lude tails paintef the same color as my car.

It IS illegal to have any running lights on your car that are any color other then red or amber (besides your headlights of course). Its a gray area and cops might not bother you, but thats highly unlikely.
If they dont light up blue you probably wont get as much shit from the cops as you would if they were blue. Blue and red together will get you in DEEP shit. If the cop feels like it, he could bust you for impersonating an officer.
I've seen people get busted for having green windshield sprayer light thingys on.

i know what your saying about the blue but actually those pics make it look way dark then it really is, its lighter blue then that u could still see the yellowish tone behind it, but i will get red paint lol i just needed to see what it looked like and as i can see by your coments it looks like shit lol so im getting red paint and starting over :DQuote:
