I emailed them a little while ago and they do make one for our car, I can't remember the price the guy quoted me though.
i went to mralternator.com and they said it would be like $500+ so i said fuck that.
Yeah, short of having sombody like Ohio Generator build you a massive alt for nearly a grand, just get it rewound. Ive been running a rewound for about a year and a half now, and i just got rid of the system a few weeks ago, and it lives. I paid less than $150 for mine, and it was rated at about 140 amps cold, and I ran a 1250W rms system with a stock battery and no caps and it had only very slight dimming (hard to notice) when the car was spinning faster than 1500 rpms, but at idle it made no power, and dimmed like a mofo, thats the tradeoff you get with a rewound, but it did hold up (trust me, im surprised myself).
but see rewond alternators overheat which in New York may not be a problem but here in Texas it gets hella hot. thats the only thing im worried about.
