Hey I'm looking at getting a sunroof put into my car. I don't really want to put it in myself due to the fact I don't want leakage.
Here's one I was looking at.

They have other ones there too like pop up ones too. How much would you expect to pay to have it professionally installed? Power and Pop up?
It will slow you down a bit, but if u have no ac you need some other form of air.. Plus It looks kewl.. I would say No.. Concentrate on the Engine ! :)Quote:

that looks good mike ask i think Ghettoaccord he put a sunroof or Moonroof on his DX Accord i believe
aftermarket power ones are never that good. That's why I had a pop-up put in mine. Yes it's not as cool as power, but the aftermarket ones weren't that great.
A while ago somebody was throwing rocks onto the road and they hit my sunroof (gotta give it to em, it was a good shot) and broke out the glass. I took my car to the dealer and to sunroof shops and i was told by everywhere that Honda didnt make power sunroofs in my car. I FINALLY found a place in Portland that does after-market power SR installation. The cheapest one they had was $1000 INSTALLED. Luckly my insurance convered it for only 100 out of my pocket. I told my insurance company that the headliner had been ruined after the glass got broken so they replaced that as well. Now i have a (larger) brand new sunroof that is in perfect condition!
But thats the only place that i know of that does decent work with sunroof installation. I would NEVER attempt to install one myself.
Hey Mike did you install the pop-up one yourself? Where did you buy the sunroof at? If it was installed professionally how much did it cost? I know you have badass cars so I know it must have been a nice one. I never wanted one until I saw Y3G's car in person and his pop up SR was cool looking.
