i picked up a b16 manifold the other day for free off a budy that had it layin around, now my question is, which would be the better intake to run.....mine at the moment is port matched and flowed to my moter so i was thinking i wouldnt get much gain out of the b16 manifold, but was wondering what the rest of you were thinking.....any oppinions would be helpful, thanks
Well... a port matched b16 manifold would be best. But you'd need to take your head off to do that so you probalby don't want to go that route right now. The only way you're really going to be able to tell is to take your old manifold off and see how close the ports match up. The b16 manifold is going to flow more volume. It has straiter, shorter runners, and the tb is a little bit bigger I believe. But if the ports are too far off then the edge will cause some turbulance and you'll probably be better off with the ported a20.
