looking for suspension
i'm finally making decent money so i can afford to do a suspension on my 88 accord lx. i'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as far and shocks and springs go. i want the ride quality to be decent, like in my 94 accord lx coupe which has nuespeed springs and tockico (forgive me if i spelt it wrong) shocks. i'd like decent handleing as well but the main reasone for getting springs and shocks is to lower it. so if anyone has any suggestions i'd really appreciate it.

i'm also open to good used suspension setups if anyone has anything.

find these for the accord.. better yet, call in.. i like the setup, its pretty stiff, but not too bad... i would recomend not getting 17's.. its really harsh then.. but with 15's its very nice

i have 16's with a pretty thick tire. they were on my 94 which is lowered 2.25

239? is that cheap? seams cheap to me.

yah.. they are pretty sweet for the price.. you get front and rear coilovers with shocks built in... and if the shocks ever blow, send em back and they will replace them...
oh.. you will have to do a little bit of modifying.. the rear doent have top hats, so you have to cut the top loop of the rear spring and have the new coilover spring welded to it... but other than that.. you can make it sooo low that you bottom the shocks out, or soooo high that its like an inch taller than stock

ok. it sounds good but i have no welder. maybe i could get one but i don't know. i'm still looking, it'll be another week before i have the money because because there's a problem with my 94.

you can get bring it to a welding shop... they will charge maybe 10 bucks and it will be set for life...

you have this setup? it's very tempting.

i do... its super stiff.. thats why i said somthing about the 17 inch wheels... i am curently trying to sell my 17's t have some cash for the car and i will just run on stock 13's

wel i'll keep them in mind but i'm still looking. i'd like to be able to run 17's. i currently have 17's on my other car so when i get 18's i want the hand me downs to go to the 3g
-
oh i see... well you always have the option of new coilover springs.. softer ones from GC... thats another 220 bucks tho

ok well i'm looking more into the possibilites of used stuff now. my cousin fell asleep at the wheen of my car so that has to be repaired now, so i can't really spend as much as i thought. so if anyone has anything useld let me know. i'm open to all suggestions (that have to do with me buying a suspension)
