USDM Taillights....will the fit?

Im thinking of getting USDM tail lights on my car, instead of the AUDM ones, the US ones remind me more of the prelude tails.

The AU ones have the orange indicators in the far left and right corners, the the US ones obviously have them are orange strips.

As we all know the rear tail lights are in two sections...

the fixed one and the part attached to the trunk lid.

Now ive noticed on some US models that the width of those bits are different than on other models....

Are the tail light assemblies different from the 1986 models and the 1989 models?

I need to know before I even considering purchasing a set....

there are 3 different kinds for sedans/coupes.

86-87 Accords:

if you can get a shot from the rear dead on (like the top pic of my car) so that I can super-impose them on my car it would help a lot. I'd take them anyways because even if I don't like them I can always sell them or use them to hold screws or something ;)

I Need to find a decent source of the AUDM accord tails, if I can get a high enough demand for 'em I can start exporting them to the US.

Damn, now I wish the coupes had a cool new unique style of tail lights. Oh well i guess i just have to stop being lazy and finish my clears.

Good news is I Found a supplier for the taillight bad news is they are $145 AUD for a set, which is equal to about $72.50 US
