i have to agree with nanaimo_honda_accord about running high PSI. It is bad. when you put 44 psi in the tire, you should expect at least 47-48 psi when it gets hot. it is called over inflating. your outsides of the tires will wear out faster. i have seen it happen.
the other thing is when you load your car and you have 44psi in the tires it is not good. imagine baloon. if you inflate to the proper size and squize it, it will have some room before it pops. well now inflate the baloon to the max size before it blows up, and squeze it. you don't have much room before it will pop. i hope you guys understand.
overiflating your tires is good, but at some limits.
too much and tire will start loosing traction on the snow, wet or dry roads.
i am from Russia and i have seen what over inflated tire does in the snow.
So don't waist your money buying nice tires and inflating them to the max specs. THAT IS STUPID.
