A few people here had gude package and it doesn't give you 45hp. may be half of that.
anyway, when you installing axels make sure you don't puncture the boot. i did that ones. where are you buying your axels from?
i got mine from autozone with lifetime warranty. autozone gave me the new ones for free when my old axels started to click.

I use Autozone axles, too. They suck. They have yet to make it a year / 15000 miles without clicking. On the plus side, I never have to pay for replacements and I do my work so I just swap them out.

I'd definately have to agree with the other two guys, get replacements with lifetime guarantees! Do you mean axles without cv joints? I hope not!:lol You couldn't steer without outer joints, and you wouldn't have any suspension travel without the inner joints!
Are all your motor mounts, torque strut inserts, and suspension compnents in good shape and alignment correct?

I bought napa reman half shats and they have lasted about a year now and I corner as hard as I can. They don't have a warranty though. They were $62 a piece. I would suggest napa parts, they usually are a little more money but have good quality. That is everything but their brand rotors, they warp in months.

well, if you're still having trouble, I would suggest a Genuine Honda replacement axle. Jhonny-O, a member on this board, has over 400 hp to the wheels and uses stock Honda axles and only very occasionally twists them. That's the only time you'd need a "1 piece" axle; If you'r twisting them.
One reason an axle will break:

for the other guys.....
Sorry this is the best I can do with a quick search....

That's a pic of the inside "tripod" of the axle end. Notice the inner portion where it slides onto the spline of the axle itself. That's a "2 piece", in a 1 piece, the tripod is part of the axle rod, it's not a part that slides onto spline. When you hear of people "twisting axles" many times what happens is the spline are gets stripped out due to excessive torque loads on the tripod.

My past expierences with Honda drive axles has been that if you want a long lasting one, get your own originals rebuilt instead. I've had this done for a few customers & they've thank me for it too. Yes it still comes with a life-time warranty & ends up costing the same as pre-built ones. The only real draw back is that it takes a day to rebuild your old one, so your car is out for a day or two.
