Hyuck.
A little more info would help. What kind of amp and subs (make/model) ??
Is it a 2 channel amp? If so, the best way would be to run the + on the first channel to the + on the first sub, the - on the 1st channel of the amp to the - on the first sub. And do the same for the second channel and second amp. If it's 4 channel and capable of being bridged, bridge it and then do the same as I said before.
like I know how to bridge an amp lol
Are the single voice coil? Dual voice coil? Whats the impedence? Do you want to know how to wire up the amp? Or do you want to know how to wire the subs to the amp? More info please :).
tim
they are pyramid Hyper Pro's and an Pyramid 1000 watt amp??
the subs are 1200watts
just run each sub off each channel...
run a 8 gauge wire from teh battery to the amp, run a 16 gauge wire from an ignition hot wire (or run it to a switch) to the REMOTE in on your amp... then make a 8 gauge ground...

???
You posted first in Off Topic. I moved the thread here and noticed that you opened another thread on the same topic. If you post in the wrong section just wait for a Moderator to move your thread. I don't have access to move things in this section so I notified a Mark of the situation. Please continue to post in the other thread and we will take care of the rest. :)
hook the positive of one speaker to the negative of the other speaker and then hook the positive and the neagative to the bridge terminals of the amp.
ok thanks for the help I just dont know where to look for the theread you talked about earlier and I apologize for the wrong section!
that will make it run at 8 ohms... dont do that... run each sub to each channel... it will be best like that
Travis
No worries man we'll fix it for you...
I used to work on car audio systems. Just find out what name/model amp you have, as well as the name/model of subs. It is VERY important to know the ohm load of your amp and where it is stable. You can blow out a amp in no time if it is wired incorrectly. For now just wire it normal... pos. to pos. and neg. to neg. on each channel. Then we will go from there...
Does it have the factory monsoon amplified system?? If it's one of the newer body styles, it may have a factory amp on the drivers side in the side panel. It will contain everything you need.Quote:
