No power to choke heater
I have hardly any power going to my choke heater (about half a volt). In the mean time, I hooked up a manual switch for it, but I need the real power source working again. Is there a common place in the circuit that causes this problem? I know the problem is on the positive side of the heater.

Punk butts... the A16 had a Manual choke on the Keihin Carb.

The book says there should be battery voltage.
I say hook a seperate on with ignition wire to the choke. and add in a fuse maybe

Yea, prolly a good a idea. I think the 'running' wire for the ignition is black with a yellow stripe. Is that correct?

hmm I've been looking for the pic that 2old_honda posted, but anyways on the fuse box under the dash... one of the male electrical connector tabs is an on with ignition source. You'll need a wire with a female connector crimped on to use them, I forget the size though.

Is ur Charging light always ON?. Check fuse No 8 (10A) inside under-hood relay box. If is good then Volatge Regulator (in alternator) might be bad!

No charge light, it's a new alt. I'm just going to install a manual choke, but thanx anyways guys.
