Wow....that's a Honda for ya! hehe ;)
so you're saying you'd pay that much for a 14 year old car with 281,000 miles on it?
yeah i know, its reliable. but for how much longer?
is it cheap to get all those bids !??? ( i really don't know the prices ! )_
MIKE
No dude, you missing my point. 25 people are biding on a car with 281,000 super high miles. 25 people!! Incredible. They are willing to over pay for this car, that's possibly on it's last leg, just because it's a reliable Honda Accord. What's it worth to me or you, maybe $800-900 tops. $1500 is way too much money. I just paid $1800 for my 88 DX with 139,000 miles and I thought that was a little high. Makes my wonder what could we get for our lower mileaged 3geez on Ebay. :super:Quote:

yeah, theres alot of folks out there who will overpay for the honda name. honda or not, i think they just prove Darwin's theory all wrong :)
I love it when people say, "A/C works, just needs a charge."
What that means is that the system has a leak (at best)
Can you say, "Overpriced." Next time I sell a car, I'm doing it on eBay!
wow i wonder what i could get for mine
its an '86 with only 186,000KM heh heh whats that in miles?
116,250 miles. That is rather low mileage.
sweet. well when i got it...it looked as if iit had been sitting around for 10yrs...the brakes are messed up...the floor and wheel wells were rotted. but the doors and pillars, hood, and roof, are near perfect...i threw some gas in, hooked up a battery and VROOM :-D hee hee
I can't believe that car sold for $1500. :deal: No way is that worth that much with 281,000 miles. It doesn't have any rust compared to my car with rusted out quarter panels. And I have half the miles! Bastards!!! :barf: :omg:
That isn't overpriced for around here. Any car that still runs is worth $1500. The Northwest is extremely expensive for cars but I'm sure there are other places that are like that too. One reason is that we have such mild weather so we have no rust on any cars and we never have floods or hail damage or anything like that. I see 3rd gens all the time around here with over 150,000 miles that are selling for more than $5000.
