Does anyone out there know where i can order a hi-flo catalitic converter for out cars.....And does anyone know if they actually work. I hollowed out my converter a while ago and it sounds like shit now that put headers on. So im looking for a coverter that wont restrict gas but not let it sound like shit.

Well I would think that cat converters are universal....I think it would just have to fit your exhaust piping

Pacesetter and Random Technologies make direct fit ones. Yes you can get universal ones too.
I have the pacesetter one. I think it works well but I did put it on at the samw time I did my catback.

what improvements do you gain from that?? performance and sound-wise??
I just took the bolts off my cat and took a hammer with a rail road spike the stuff in the middle. Then i just bolted it back on.
You get a very nice amount of horsepower from it and torque. It sounds alright but at high rpm's it sounds like weedeater.
I regret doing it cause of the sound it makes with the headers i just put on. Thats why im gettin a hi flo converter
I would rather touch dog crap then the stuff inside a converter. Last time I checked it was some very nasty stuff in their.
