most of us have ebay gauges. they are good. i had mine for 1.5 years
ohh alright, i just wanted to see, was it all that hard to install, thats only what im really scared about?
The common ones people use are from ProCarParts.com, which are usually the same on ebay.
All of the gauge sets on ebay are from an online company called procarprts.com. They are great gauges. There a good quality and have a great fitment. They are easy to install, but when you put them over the stock gauges simply take off the small black screws and slid the new gauges over the stock ones. DO NOT remove the needles, there is no need to anyway. The tach and speed-o gauges slide on easily, but the engine temp and furl gauge is a little trickie, but it can be done if you take your time. The hardest part is wiring them up but bottom line is you can do it at home in like 30 minutes but if you don't feel comfortable take them to a shop and have them install them.
I've had my white face ones now for at least 7 months and have never had any problems with them. One wire came loose from where I spliced it in, but that was an easy fix.
But definalty get them, you'll be happy with them both at night and during the day.
Also you can get either silver faced or white faced gauges.
nice nice! thats what i want to hear, i think im gonna go buy some right now!, (im not afraid of wiring) im thinking of making all the lights that are in my car now that are green blue with little blue leds (i think it would look pretty nice)
u wont have to change the lights to blue behind the guages, the guages are electro luminescent. check out my page below for some pics. u will love them if u get them!

how much are these gauges, so u dotn gotta wire up any extra lights or anything, jsut set them overtop? and what are they made outta?
naww dude i know that the gauges are like that, im talking about everythign else like the switch that says cruise control and a/c and heat and everything like that, there are just little incadescent bulbs behind those guys and i intend to make the blue :)
lightbulbLXI- are your gauges overly shiny like too glossy looking? My bro has a set for his teg and they look way too glossy. I like the dull/flat/matte look. If those are JDM corners Ill have to send you a few pics of how my car is right now. Minus the rust and rims youd walk to my car and think it was yours if they were in the same parking lot.
ditto i got me the same gauges

the gauges i have are glossy, but not super glossy. kinda like a mix of gloss and matte. yea, send me some pics of ur ride man. o, i jus spray painted my corners. lol.
so how do you get them to glow blue behind the white
the gauges are made of an electro luminescent material, so it is like the thin layer of copper on a circuit board. the numbers light up when electricity is run through them, so it is flexible.
were they hard to install?
u just hve to uncrew th screws from the stock gauges, and screw these on, and find a 12v source.
its a bitch, lolQuote:
