Yea, I painted it white. It was a gray color, but the paint was all fading.

As for the tranny. It is a 5-speed, and I have done nothing to it besides change the fluid every 30k and put in a couple clutches. The motor is original also, but about 150k ago, I did put a gasket kit in it because it was starting to get some oil leaks around the valve cover and oil pan. I can't remember how many timing belts it has had. I try to replaced it at least every 70 to 80k,so it has probably had 5!!
The gauge needles I painted with a small brush and some model car paint that comes in the real little bottles. Worked really well. here is picture the day I bought it, and another one as it was being prepared for the paint job.
