OK, I found a rebuilt BS A20A1 Head for about $200. Can it be used with my EFi A20A3 block and intake manifold? I know compression ratios for carb and EFi are different, so I was wondering.

OK, I found a rebuilt BS A20A1 Head for about $200. Can it be used with my EFi A20A3 block and intake manifold? I know compression ratios for carb and EFi are different, so I was wondering.
The compression ratios are different, but they are not related to the head. The only difference that I know of between the carb and FI heads are the cams. Other than that, they should swap without a problem.
You chould swap the cam end bearring that is responsible for holding the EFI distributor.
Cool, thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure cus this is a deal too good to pass up. I mean $200? That's friggin' awesome. I won't need it right away cus my A20A3 head is perfectly fine. But it's nice to have a rebuilt reserve head just in case since the block is cast-iron and would be the last to break down in the longrun.
