i'm looking at getting a webber carb for my 87 lx. i want something better for performance wise for my car. if putting on the webber will i still pass emission test??? if not what route can i go. :confused:

ummm i doubt it since it does'nt use as much vaccum line's as the stock carb does . . . .there are different route's you can take as for getting more power . . . .
Convert ot EFI as per the howto on this board. That should make it run a lot cleaner.
Then from there intake, exaughst, headwork, ignition, suspension, brakes, etc...
damn i can't wait to convert . . . . . .
now if i deside to go carb to efi do i have to chage everything as it says in the ho- to section of can i just go with the kit that sean is selling for the other way of converting??
you can go with sean's kit. i believe it will pass most states emission standarts.
you can go with weber, but you will have lean out the mixture a hole lot. if you don't know how to do that i would say stick with Sean's EFI conversion.
