The server may run slow for a while today. I am reindexing the search engine to allow for any stray threads to be picked up by the search function. It's a pretty server-intensive process.

i, for one, am fine with the slowness since it's gerring something fixed that needs it...

More work will be done tonight. Out of 389,000 posts, 110,000 have been re-indexed to the search engine.
I can only imagine how long it must take the larger community message boards to index the search.
Will the slow server effect our ability to post pics?? I have beem trying to upload pics from my digital camera for hours, and all I get is this message that says "page cannot be displayed".
So far, about 330,000 posts have been indexed. I will finish up the rest tonight.
As for attaching files, yes the slow server can cause problems with that. If the server is too busy, your connection may timeout when uploading a large file.
