i have seen on here that the 84-87 civic shortshifters will fit. the pacesetter shifter has the same part number as the accords. So, if they fit then the one by DC Sports they make for the civic should fit the accord as well correct?

I just put a 87 Civic DC Sports Short shifter in and the only thing that you will have to do is bang a bowl shape in the heat deflector shield about 1/2" - 1" down.
Just make sure there is no rubbing otherwise it will drive you nuts.
I put the DC shifter in and it fit great!
