Anyone ever use one of these? Opinions on it?

if that's the one i got with my DC Header.., than i believe it does bolt up(haven't actually tested it, but i don't see why it wouldn't), and it's more of a "test pipe" than a high-flo cat. but for that price, i don't see why not
I don't have to deal with DEQ or any other emmision crap around here, so since it's really a "test pipe" thats cool with me! I just want some info from someoe who has one, money's kinda tight, but I want one of these and an intake of some sort since they're cheap bolt ons, assuming it does bolt up!!
Is it $36 plus shipping?
Our cat if funny, the flanges are slightly offset.
The cat in the pic has no offset... so basicly you run into problems if you it turns out to be like in the pic and you don't have the needed equiptment and materials to make it fit.

Those are universal becasue they get rid of the flanges, they still don't have the offset inlet/outlet pipes...
You'll need to cut the flanges off the stock accord and clamp or weld on pipes... also if you plan on getting and header or exhaust system get at least a 2.25" cat.
you might consider getting a flex pipe to help adjust the angle of the universal cat to better allign itself to the exhaust pipe and header.

Otherwise get the cat and hold on to it... then get your header and then get a custom exhaust to mate with the cat.
I'm think I may just do that A20A1. However, if the Ebay cat is just a "test pipe", why not just have headers into straight pipe into muffler, since it is essentially the same, as far as emissions go anyway?Quote:

Just do like I did and hollow out the cat that's already on your car. :D
well, i think it still acts somewhat like a cat.., it's just a strait-thru design. but, since you said you don't have to deal with emissions, you could just have a straight pipe welded up to the back of your header, and be good to go.Quote:

well the carsound one is a weld on. pendejo is looking for a bolt on testpipe. yah that one you showed us, looks like the flanges are aligned with each other and if so, it wont go in cuz like mike said our flanges are off angle. and the evo ones on ebay for our cars is too long i believe. just make youre own or go to ashop and have then weld you a stratpipe, 30 bucks and they'll do it.
