6x9s

i got the old stock 6 1/2s in the rear i was thinkin of maybe getting 6x9s but i dont want them to show looking through the rear window....

has anyone installed 6x9s?? Did you have to cut the carpeted area to fit the speakers and remove the stock speaker covers?

if so then ill just get 6 1/2s and avoid the troubles....

I made a spacer with MDF and reupholstered it.

when i bought my car the dude had jl 6x9 in the back and it looks as though he just put the carpet cover over them

when i was broke i just used speakers i had in my other car since they were new, but they were 6x9's, i just mounted them in there and they sounded fine
