fog light question
i just got a new pair yesterday and i want to mount them where those removable plates are in the front, but theres nothing to mount it to except that styrofoam (spelling?). i tried it anyway but one side is already loose and i know this isnt a good permament hold. how did some of you guys do it?

one word
adhesive
or two words
drill holes
-
its just kind of hard b/c i cant really fit a drill or even a screw driver into that tiny space....maybe come up from the bottom? adhesive sounds alright though...id need some super strong stuff
-
you can make brackets to bolt into the bolts that hold the horn.
-
well ive got some silicon glue stuff, you think that would hold well against the styrofoam? im thinkin it would if i apply it right
-
No it will not hold them, with all of the engine vibrations, small animals, and bumps those things will fall off real fast. Just mount them from the plastic on the bottom of the bumper or make a bracket going from the bottom plastic of the bumper up to mount them a bit higher.

Fog bracket

i used brackets from a 3rd gen prelude, had to drill my own holes to mount to the metal bumper. that's the best way i'd say if you dont want the lights comming loose or shaking a lot. i had to take my bumper off to do this, it wasnt hard. 4 main bolts behind the bumper lights, like 3 on the bottom that hold the cover to the under side of the car. and i think 4 screws in the wheel arches. i measured everything out so they sit even.

I did same as Hondaboy, take off the bumper then bumper cover and drill a hole on the metal piece, my fog fit realy good ( whit my custom fog covers).
Its alot of work but its worth it, no way to loose a ligth or shaking on the road.
