I am a noob to the whole Honda thing. My question was wether or not my Honda was a third gen or second gen. I have a 87 honda accord LXI. I have read that 86' was the first production year for Accords, but then again I have heard that it was eailer like 85' 84'. So when was the first production year for Honda Accords? And what generation is mine considered? :rockon:

i think like 77 or 78 were the first production years for the accord model
The first Accord was model year 1976.
Ok then well then since mine is a third gen then what qualifies it as a third generation Honda Accord? :uh:
