Is this bad for my car for a few days?

I took off my air filter unit to clean in and around the carb and took out my crankcase breather because I looked in and it was black, I took it out and put the air filter unit back without it, figured it did more harm than good since it was that dirty anyway, I wont be able to get a new one for a few days, is it bad to drive without it? :idea:

shouldnt be a problem for a few days but you'll probably want to replace it soon.
