New to the forum, and new to hondas!
Alright well I've owned a mazda nad a nissan and I have never really liked honda so much (mainly because I always had ricer civics wanting to race me... and they are torqeless) but I have to say I love this accord. It's really a great car and I plan on doing some stuff to it for fun.. cause It just has a style all it's own!

And just cause I love my old broken mazda here's a pic of it :) too bad the tranny blew up, but then again if it weren't for it blwoing up I wouldn't have this great 3G would I? :D

Re: New to the forum, and new to hondas!
welcome to the boards :welcome:
i have 2 suggestions for you however lol
suggestion 1: drop that 3g, asap.
suggestion 2: if the bolt pattern is the same, put the rims/tires from your mazda on your accord (as long as the rims dont say mazda on them somewhere)
other then that your 3g looks CLEAN
is it a carb or FI?
thats probably on of the cleanest (body/paint wise) 3gs on the board right now, you should be proud lol... if you dont believe me look at some pics of my car :P

Re: New to the forum, and new to hondas!
Thanks everyone...
about the wheels... Well the white ones on the mazda are the stock MX-3 wheels, I just painted them white, and they are 14" and kind of skinny.. can only hold a 195x60 not anything wider...
The ones on the honda now are the ones I had on the mazda when the mazda still drove. They are 15" with 195x50's (yah i know not tall enough) but the rim is wide enough to hold a 225, but the car probley can't handle that?
Anyway, yes the car really needs to be lowered.
As far as plans go, I want to rebuild the motor befoer I do anything to it really.. Just cause of the milage.
And I need to pay it off (yes I am financing a 1987... I didn't have a choice.)
It runs great, and pulls hard... even though it has 230k miles... Doesn't smoke, doesn't leak, and drives like new. When I bought the car I found a maintence list about an inch thick. lol.
And it has Air condition!
So supposedly it's in great shape so according to blue book value.. it's wroth 2200.. and that's what I'm paying. i just barely pull on my friends 1997 Ford Contour and he has a short ram intake. So That's pretty good heh?

Re: New to the forum, and new to hondas!
Damn what the hell happened to your front end? It must just be the way it's sitting but it looks like it's jacked up. Car looks clean. Good luck with it.

Before this thread gets hi-jacked. Welcome to the board prototype. I like the rims. Sure you can find a junkyard tranny to fix that Mazda for cheap.
