Re: my new toy!
awesome that SR20DE is a powerful motor sweet ride
-
Re: my new toy!
^I agree^
ya it's not that powerful..kinda sluggish if you ask me...
nothing compaird to my b16..
i just love the look of the G20's and their style..power wise..it's ok..could be better..but for now..it's aight..
i will do a sr20det swap on her at some point..
I paid $13,800 CDN for it..with 70,000 miles..everything mint condition and purrs like a kitten:)

Re: my new toy!
haha...no worries..cuz i think the same thing..
it's SLOW!! and there's no denying it!!
other then that..she's B-E-A-Utiful!
i'm not sure..but car prices in the U.S are always cheaper then up here..
but eh...for that price..what more could you ask for???

Re: my new toy!
Better engines? The N/A sr20's I agree are pretty weak in comparison to the turbo versions, internal wise and all, plus you can't match NA to Turbo at all it's just not the same field .. but I can't think of many other 4 cyl Nissan engines that touch the SR20.. Aside from CA18, QR25, and the FJ20.. The CA18 can't take the power that SR can.. The QR25 (sentra engine, unless I got the code wrong) is amazingly built together, with some internal work it'd walk on the SR20 with a turbo.. and the FJ20 is so old and dated..
Six wise Nissan brought out remarkably rememberable engins.. RB25, RB26, VQ35, VG35, RB30 to name a few.. Their 8's are very smooth as well.. VK's and such.
There are better engines, the turbo variants, but to say it isn't amazing is an understatement..

i also have a 91 teg with jdm b16 swap...
and now the G20 to add to my collection..
ya i love the look of the g20 too..thats the main reason why i wanted it..
also..there isn't many of them around and i like cars that no one else has..

Re: my new toy!

-
Re: my new toy!
Nice buy I;ve always liked G20's... Especially that generation they looked nice, and I really like the interiors.

Re: my new toy!
thanks all...
ya i've always loved these g20's aswell..
of course i'm gonna convert to Primeria...and also an sr20det swap at somepoint:)
ya the car is originally an American car..so it is in mph..and i haven't seen a silver G20 of that gen up here in Canada yet...i think silver was a color in the US models..not CDN models...but so far..i love her!! she is amazing!
