Re: reasons to wear a seat belt and obey the law
i always wear seat belts, no matter what, i just dont feel right without it, i feel safe with it, i took drivers ed, well actually taking it right now, just waiting fot thedriving part of it, i have seen videos showing how seat belts save life, not with dummies, i have seen the video where a real person goes around 65mph, and crashs into a tree, and he was buckled up, and he survived, he didnt even black out or anything, it stopped him, and this car had no air bags, so guys, even tho i dont know half of you well most off you, im sure you guys are great, which i think yall are, wear seat belts, they arent there for appearence, they are there to protect you, if people say you arent cool wearing those belts, well when they are in the hospital, visit them and say im not in the hospital cuz im not cool, ur cool, so ur in the hospital, and he is in the hospital cuz of a car accident, and he flew through the windsheild

Re: reasons to wear a seat belt and obey the law
How does one roll a car on the highway?
Re: reasons to wear a seat belt and obey the law
can i have his Si wheels? Always wear your seatbelts, kids
Re: reasons to wear a seat belt and obey the law
I was being a dumb a$$ going about 55 on a gravel road, front passenger
side tire somehoh came off the lip of the rim, It didn't blow out (wierd)
Anyway I lost control, Do a 180, end up facing west,
when I was originally headed east, somehow after the car does the 180,
It slides backwards, Hits some lady's garden that was lined with cinder blocks
about 10 inches high, I guess the blocks are what caused the car to flip
and land on the drivers side with all 4 tires right up against a lady's fence.
I had no seatbelt on, The back window was shattered out so I immediately
put the car in gear, take the key out of the ignition, and jet out the back window. I think I may have blacked out for a couple seconds when the car started sliding backwards, Then I remember hitting my head on the roof, and the car landing on the drivers side. The only thing messed up was the drivers side, But when the wrecker came the stupid lady would not let us take down her fence so we could just flip the car back onto it's wheels and still have
a car, No, we had to roll it onto the roof, onto the passenger side, then back on the wheels, Then the car was completely totaled. I learned a lot from
that experience. The car was a 91 chevy corsica lt, On the bright side,
After that I got my 3g ! The corsica was nice for a chevy though, had a zippy
3.1 liter 155hp v6.
Re: reasons to wear a seat belt and obey the law
Re: reasons to wear a seat belt and obey the law
it could of been worse but at least he's ok...
earlier today on my way home from work, i put my 3g in some poor bastard yard... (snowin bad here...) i was only going 35 and a UPS truck flew by me so close that i swerved to the right and thats when i bit it and then i turned left and it grabbed (wasn't expacting that, ussually it juststraightens out...) over a ditch and into the yard... i got it out with out a scratch on it... drove it 20 feet out of the guys yard toward his driveway when it just stayed there and spun the tires (I was in 4th gear when it started spinning tires PUSHING too much snow)... the guy just pulled me out and that was it... the wife thought it was funny (of course she would, the... nevermind)...
Sorry off topic I guess....
Re: reasons to wear a seat belt and obey the law
