My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
So hey guys! I finally decided to get off my lazy ass, dust off the old camera, and take some pics. I've been lurking on this forum for some time, but finally signed up (Can ya see a trend? Lol, I'm a bit of a procrastinator). So here is my 3G Accord, I love this car; I just got it this past summer. Everything about it just feels right. When I got it, it had about 90k original miles on it; the original owner was some older guy, so it was in fairly good shape. I aim to keep it clean and do some minor stuff on it as I get the money. It sucks to be a broke college student ha-ha! So anyway, thanks for reading this, if you have, and I'm glad to be a part of this so far amazing 3G resource!

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
ya, got any pics of the engine?
-
Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
Haha I actually thought about that! I think I might when I go home for Christmas break just for drills. Naw, no pics of the engine yet, I'll take some tomorrow though. Nothing special under the hood though, but it is fairly clean. Yeah, the only stuff I need to do with it soon is replace a piece of rear window molding (my clips broke) and the jackass honda tech sold me the wrong ones.

Treat her right.
Peace.

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
For sure, I am a fanatic about keeping her clean. I'm just sad I haven't had the chance to wax in a while. I also need to find a solution with my hood, my clearcoat is beginning to chip.

oh how i wish that was the biggest issue with my car:sad2:
it's a shame all the clean-ass 3rd gens are the automatics that were owned by seniors. good luck with the car man, and welcome to the board!

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
I plan to:
Get new rims & tires
New dampers but keep the stock springs (current shocks seem warn and I want to keep the stock ride height prefferably because of where my folks live and i kind of want to rally-theme my car)
Paint brake calipers and drums
Paint side moldings
Fix/Touch up my clearcoat issue
New "knockoff" HID Headlights
Try and find a civic airbox and install a CAI w/it
Find a front lip
Find some strutbars/tiebars?
foglamps & a new muffler

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
wow really clean. Looks good

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
Wow. Nice and clean. That shiny steering wheels sure does do it. haha. Awesome car.

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
Really clean! I wonder if the past owner re-painted the car, because the paint looks sick! Now my recommendation is that you stay with those rims because that car looks hot like that. It is like perfect for an 80's car exhibition. Take good care of your ride!

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
you need some engine pics, but very nice, very clean, but auto =(,lol, but very nice tho

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
Yeah I was gonna take engine pics today, but it was like sub 30 degrees outside today, and I am a pussy when it comes to the cold. The owner before me repainted certain trim parts, but the base paintjob is stock original. I wouldn't believe it either, except for my clearcoat issues.

Re: My Ride, First Real Post As Well...
actually i believe it very well. my car was garaged until 5 years ago and the clearcoat is the only thing that was bad until a few months ago, now there is slight oxidation on the roof. with the exception of my fender, which is primered,, and a headlight assembly, which is white.
