I don't mean to repeat a post for the 1000th time if it's already been asked, but what all is needed to turbo a car? I know the turbo manifold and the blow off valve, but I really don't understand it and know what parts I need. Also, I know people here make and sell turbo manifolds, so who's making them? Does anyone have a full turbo set up for an A20 for sale? Thanx for the help.

some things you'll need if you are willing to do it yourself:
knowledge, time... <----
turbine, compressor, piping, blow-off valve, intercooler(optional, but worth it), and a few other things...:)
Engine management is probably your #1 priority aside from stronger internal parts. Pistons, Rods.
Best thing is to Research it, google, buy a book.
I mean we can help you but what if something goes wrong... how are you going to rely on us 24/7 to help fix the problem. If you understand turbocharging and what is involved you'll be better off in the long run.
It's that whole someone gives you a fish and you'll eat for that day, but learn how to fish and you'll eat for a lifetime.

adams86lxi is selling his b20a with the turbo and all for $800. that's cheaper than what it would cost to turbo the a20. all you need to do is find a new piston (although i hear b16a pistons fit with minor modding).

Obviously having the engine rebuilt, and changing the internals will make a huge difference, plus your engine will most likely last longer, but AccordEpicenter(MY HERO) prove us that our engines can handle a fair amount of boost with stock internals, so if you are really anxious of going fast then you can safely build an overall good setup and have fun.Quote:
